Possible reason David Lee hired?

I keep having this nagging voice in the back of my mind say David Lee was hired as a favor to Jerry Jones. This way, he could give Jones' future investment a little bit of a head start in the Cowboys' offense. Or, Jones wants to insure Nutt did not ride D-Mac to hard and risk an injury to him. Something like that could not happen at the U of A, could it?

Smarter Hogville Analysis: It's a done deal. D-Mac is going to be a Cowboy! Not only does Jerry Jones have director-level control over the Razorback program--he is also set up to use it as his personal farm system for coaches and players! And the fix is in, as the other 31 NFL teams have ALREADY agreed not to draft D-Mac if their spot comes before Dallas's. So, it is only natural, after all this maneuvering, that Jerry Jones would take steps to protect his investment. Gosh!

Interestingly, I note in todays Morning News of NWA that even Pea Ridge has abandoned the Dead T for a new spread offense. Most high schools in NWA run some version now of Gus' spread offense. It's the wave of the future...heck it's the here and now....and most players want to play that kind of ball. Only the ancient JFB, DMW, MSM and the Nuttzis want to think it's 1965 and keep living in the past.
