If Frank had avoided Texas , we wouldn't have been competitive in the 60's.

Pretending 3 star recruits are 5 stars does the program no good. It's not like HDN is a first rate developer of talent( except running it off to better programs.)

Staying with 'players who want to be Razorbacks' does no one any good if they are only desired by mediocre programs in the first place. This is an excuse for being unable, even with excellent facilities, to recruit 1st rate talent. Admit it, 1st rate talent doesn't want to play for a second rate coach and his staff.

The only ones happy now are the Nutt cult who will never admit he is a loser that dreams up his own championships and rings, and those who inexplicably love him the same way but pretend they are 'on the fence'.

No fan who wants the Hogs to be competitive with the LSU's and Florida's is fooled or happy with the situation or fooled by this recruiting propaganda put out by the athletic program's useful-idiots in the Arkansas radio and press.

Smarter Hogville Analysis: Nutt can't develop talent and he can't recruit. Never mind that we have 12 All-SEC selections this year. It might seem like they are great recruits since they weren't developed after they got to Arkansas. But that cannot be, because Nutt cannot recruit. First-rate talent does not want to come to play for Nutt. It is pure coincidence that there are a pile of All-SEC players, 2 top 5 RBs, a Heisman contender and multiple high NFL draft picks in the last handful of years. It is clear that he neither recruited them, nor did he develop them. They appeared out of thin air, because Nutt sucks, and everybody knows it. It's a propaganda conspiracy.

I refuse to criticize any specific recruit. It would be rude and non productive. In general, some of them seem rather short, and recruited by mediocre midwestern colleges without top rate programs. If the shoe fits, wear it , but I think it could be different. Frank was a better recruiter in hostile territory. He didn't just give up.

Smarter Hogville Analysis: I refuse to criticize any specific recruit, because that would not be right. I will, however, point out that all of them are second rate and many of them are too short and weren't recruited by anyone else.
