Lovefest, faltering

When Danny Nutt announced he was leaving his coaching position because of the return of a brain bleed, even most of Hogville poured out sympathy for him, in what might be called a lovefest except for the negative connotation of that word. We note that our ill will toward Danny Nutt is limited only to what happens in connection with football, not his personal well being.

We think that most of Hogville is glad to see him gone, but not in that way. Or at least we thought so, until we read this thread.

Why is Danny still on the UA payroll???

If he is still on the payroll, I think that is a little funny. That is the good 'ole boy system for you and it don't hurt his older brother is the head coach. Maybe if I resign from my job, I wonder it my boss will keep paying me? Don't get me wrong, I feel sorry for Coach Danny Nutt, but I do think it is wrong he is still on the payroll, "If he is". He should have some kind of retirement package, i would think.

Question is, How much will Coach Danny Nutt make as a counselor for the UofA? I hope its not the $160.000.
