It's no surprise, following Mike Irwin's abrupt departure from Hogville some time ago, that the Hogville weirdos would see a conspiracy theory behind the KFSM sports reporter's departure from the Press Row radio program, set for tomorrow.
The fact that it's unsurprising doesn't exempt it from Smarter Hogville treatment, but there is a little bit more to this at the end.

Might the BAC [Broyles Athletic Center] be involved in Mike's departure from Press Row and Hogville? I wonder...... The "machine" at work. We can't have any dissenters in the propaganda campaign.

ding ding ding , we have a winner

When you question the program or the people in it, you will pay a price. Look at every single person who DARED to speak out against the program or question them. They have either been shut down or shut up. Only those who support the program and "their" propoganda will survive, and then all the BAC propoganda will flow uninterupted and unquestioned.
Smarter Hogville Analysis: This is just one more example of The Man keeping things down. It's all about machine politics, propaganda, and keeping truth-tellers like Mike Irwin from saying something besides the party line. I would not be surprised if they kidnapped his dog and forced him to do this, kind of like that Alltel commercial.
And then the classic Internet jerk appears:

and this is why the internet is suppose to be anonymous,so people can express their opinions freely without having someone come in and threaten/suggest their job/livelyhood could be in jeopardy. If Mike Irwin hadn't put his name and face out there sure maybe some wouldn't have listened as closely etc, but he could still post here and do relatively what he wanted, because people wouldn't be able to go above his head and complain to his bosses in order to effect a change in him.

But think about it, what if every person that posts on a message board's employer knew what they were doing and what were they saying? My stance on this is Mike Irwin the sports reporter is different then Mike Irwin the American citizen/human being. Just because KFSM pays him to do the sports doesnt mean they own every minute of every day in his life. THe man posts on this board during his OFF TIME, do any of you know what that means? But of course the double standard of fame comes into play, because people know his real name, and his real job, because honestly arent we all "part time sports insiders amirite? /sarcasm".
Smarter Hogville Analysis: It's all right there in the Interweb Mission Statement: You can post whatever idiotic stuff you want anonymously and not have any consequences to it at all. As long as I am on my OFF TIME and on the internet, I am allowed to say whatever I want about anyone I want. I don't know crap about my rights, but I sure as hell know that is one of them.
We are also left to wonder what 311Hog had to say about what Houston Nutt did on his OFF TIME.
UPDATE: In the same thread, 311Hog continues his assault on the world of logic and rhetoric...

And that is why i hate marketing, pander to sheep, and it bites you in the ace. If your product is really worth the money then you shouldnt have to "sell it".
Smarter Hogville: Good product sells itself--no marketing needed.
But...

Based on this, Pete Carroll (sp?) and Billy Donovan shouldn't need to go out and sell kids on signing with their programs, right? You need to let them know so they can stay home and relax.

Analogy failure is what this post is. Pete Carroll is selling a REAL PRODUCT one that wins national championships, same with Billy Donovan. I am refering to people who sell products that are worthless and are useless. When Coach Carrol says "come play for me and win national titles' HE FREAKING MEANS IT,and is a very good posibility of coming true. The same cannot be said for HDN now can it?
Smarter Hogville: That's right, the product sells itse--wait, what?

Actually my analogy is quite accurate, and you even proved my point. I was responding to your statement that "If your product is really worth the money then you shouldn't have to sell it". I agree whole heartedly that USC-W and FL have top of the line products.

lol you think they actually "sell" it? my god man every kid worth a damn in the nation knows about Carroll and Donovan and would give their right arm to play for them."selling someone" refers to the act of basically lieing to them and telling them what they want to hear until you snow them into a particular action.
Smarter Hogville: Brilliant! Salesmanship is nothing but lies. When Campbell's Soup says it is Mm Mm Good they are lying. When Apple comes out with the best electronic device since the Ron Popeil Pocket Fisherman, and they put it on the teevee, they are lying about it. All these advertisers on Hogville? LIARS! If their product was any good, they wouldn't have to SELL it using advertising on Hogville! DUH!

not only is salesmanship actually the act of lying, all people who sell any product are in fact liars. Especially drug reps
