From a thread discussing the lack of playing time for the diminutive Reggie Fish:

Fish = fumble liability. I failed Dynamics, but I can tell you that when an object weighs 100lbs more than another object that it collides with, there is going to be some inertia going somewhere, i.e. fumble.
Smarter Hogville Analysis:
I don't know what I'm talking about, and I'll admit it with demonstrable proof, but listen to my outhouse engineering talk and be dazzled by my mostly incorrect use of words like "dynamics" and "inertia" to explain how bigger players 20 yards away caused Reggie Fish to muff a punt return in the SEC Championship Game and how that means he doesn't deserve playing time this year.
But Fresh Legs thinks this is a business problem, not a physics one:

Let's say you run a sandwich shop. You come out with this new sandwich and it bombs. Instead, of scrapping the product you continue to focus the energy of your company on this dud sandwich because it would be a wasted development. You have to treat Fish like a sunk cost. It's over. He doesn't have a position on a college football field.
Smarter Hogville Analysis:
Reggie Fish is like a new liverwurst and tuna sandwich at Subway. Somebody out there likes it, but it's not going to pay the bills. Keep it on the "specials" menu, but if anybody orders it, tell them you're sold out.
DISSENT ARISES!

That is horrible logic. You are talking as if Fish fumbled punts multiple times last year, which he didnt. So instead it should say, "Lets say you run a sandwich shop. If you make ONE bad sandwich do you close the whole shop down? Not after one bad sandwich you don't...if your shop keeps producing bad sandwiches then, yes you do." Do you see the difference now?? Clint fumbled againt the Vols, would you have just treated Clint like a "sunk cost"?? Players make mistakes, you don't sit them down b/c of one mistake....Its a good thing you dont coach, you would have a bench full of "sunk costs".
Smarter Hogville Analysis:
So what if Fish fumbled in what was possibly the most pressure-filled situation of his life? I like liverwurst and tuna sandwiches, dammit! My apostrophe key is broken!
