Accidental death, or at least dismemberment

A Smarter Hogville Inline Analysis™

IF Nutt has a SILVER BULLET, comparatively speaking, does Mustain have weapons of mass destruction??

The initial premise: Nutt has a "silver bullet," which enables him to blackmail his way into keeping his job and that Mustain has way more blackmail info on Nutt.

Great, let's go ...

Logical conclusion #1 - Mustain will use his blackmail ammo to strike a deal whereby Mustain gets nothing and Nutt leaves Arkansas.

I hope so. Maybe if the fabled "silver Bullet" exists, detente can be achieved. Mustain holds back on the nukes if HDN goes elsewhere and takes his SB with him,to keep it buried for all eternity. Everybody is happy.

Sure, but why would he do such a thing?

Maybe he REALLY loves the helmet and wants to do the program a favor.

ERROR! Posting any indication of magnanimity on the party of Houston Nutt violates the rules of Hogville. Of course, someone is there to clear up the fact that ...

Why wouldn't the current UA coach have wanted that 5star player to stay at AR? I would say because MM wanted to be here and Dale made it impossible. After Mrs Dale's comments concerning the wish that she could have participated in bringing Mitch's mother to the brink of death, do you blame him for wanting to expose these people, or exacting a measure of revenge? I wouldn't. Deals of this nature have been worked out before.

Plus, because you know this is Hogville ... somebody is getting sued.

A very good point - MM must have some other motive than just gettingNutt
fired, I would think. If he's got a strong civil case, IMO, he'll
sue.

He cannot afford to do that, however, because Super Mitch is already in the running for the Heisman next year.

maybe so...but could you imagine how that would effect his national reputation? Suing over an email? this kid might be in the running for a Heisman next year! Forsurely he must realize that this isn't the manner in which he wants to define himself.

We are left to wonder: How do those people live from day to day without accidentally killing themselves with their own shoes?

Ed Bethune has served as silent legal counsel to Mitch.
