A bridge too far

The interwebs are a-twitter tonight, buzzing with the latest salvo from Attorney Eddie Christian in his quixotic quest to bring down...well, anybody he can, apparently.

Hogville has its own threads discussing Mr. Christian's brief, including this one for starters.

But Woopig is a strong entrant in the field to best Hogville for this week's dumbassery quotient. After all, they actually have the brief itself, plus some seriously insane commentary. They also have a quasi-spontaneous thread mocking Danny Nutt.

We read the brief. Sure, it's sensational, but about the only thing we know for sure about it is that it is going to have zero impact on Houston Nutt's status as coach.

But pretending for a moment that it has a chance of succeeding at what is now acknowledged to be the ultimate goal of the anti-Nutt crowd: ousting Nutt...

Suppose it succeeds.

What coach in his right mind, or even not in his right mind, would replace Nutt, knowing that a fan base that is capable of anything and everything short of murder (and we're not too sure about that) is out there, ready to ruin your life if you get on their bad side?

Smarter Hogville Analysis: Sometimes you must destroy a village in order to save it.

Smarter Hogville? Are you midgets having an argument over who is taller?

oh the poor "arkansas" can't do any bettah.....what a way to look at your university.

If a 4-7 Boise State coach can come here and win 60% of his game, I'm certain we can do better than Nutt.

What a bunch of wimps, holding on to that precious 60% and a trip to Shreveport, afraid to seek better days because of the dreadful memory of Jack Crowe. That's the kind of spineless thinking that keeps Arkansas down.

I just think decency should be something the UA should be on board with. It's amazing it isn't though and the evidence no matter how invasive is still pretty eye-opening.

Boys.

I see your point about another coach coming here. There is no way we could find another coach from a small conference sporting a crappy W/L percentage.
