I am blameless

Betrayed?
Posted by: hawgalujah

Nutt said in and interview replayed on Sportsrap tonight, said that he felt betrayed by the fans in the off season! What about the fans, players and coach that he betrayed?

I'd love to move on but this guy just keeps bringing it back at us.

He deserves everything coming to him.....lets see how betrayed he feels in about 4 months....

Then a voice of reason appears...

Has he ever accused you of cheating on your wife in front of the entire state?? If it had just been coaching criticism that would be one thing, but this became a very personal issue and I image you would feel the same as he did or worse if you walked in his shoes.

... to which hogalujah responds:

I never accused him of that, but the records sure tend to appear he was heading that way fast.

Smarter Hogville Analysis:

I am innocent and blameless, but the "evidence" points that he could have very well done something I disagree with sometime in the future, therefore I hate him.

Here we see the Hogville pathos at work: Nutt is simultaneously completely inept and thus deserving of criticism, and all-powerful and thus not subject to the usual mores of polite society. Smarter Hogville isn't a fan of Nutt at all, but that's no excuse for seeking the man's destruction.
